I was bored and challenged myself to build a Dungeons and Dragons 5.5e creature stat block inspired by the 2024 Player’s Handbook using HTML and CSS. I wanted to create a one-column and two-column layout and make it responsive. For the most part, I think I have achieved my goal and consider this a success. I’m sure there are minor tweaks that could be done to it for better layout. Maybe better font choices as well. In the future, I think it would be a cool project to create a fillable form that can generate a stat block based on user input. Another useful feature would be to create ways for the rendered element to either be embedded in a document or exported as an image.
